Death Valley CA & Rhyolite NV
12 images Created 30 Jun 2013
Images in this gallery were photographed over several years starting in February 2013. I've managed to avoid Death Valley and Rhyolite NV mainly due to the oppressive heat and dry climate. It is definitely a place best visited in winter months. I plan to return again in the future to capture the rocks at the racetrack dry lakebed in the northwest section of Death Valley National Park. I'm amazed how much Abandoned American still exists in these two locations even today. There are scattered old mines, ghost towns and derelict vehicles to search out among the wide open vistas. Most of the final versions of these images translate to black and white best. Please view the Death Valley CA & Rhyolite NV (B/W) gallery.
