Salisbury located a short distance south of Stonehenge is great walking tour town with ample shopping and pubs. The classic gothic cathedral was under restoration in 2007 during this visit. Although scaffolds abound the east side of the cathedral I was able to get several good images. The classic Georgian architecture of many of the homes there is the real charm of this Wiltshire county historic town. All images in this gallery are accompanied by black & white treatments.
